Project Architect

Atlanta
Milwaukee
Newport Beach

ACS is looking for Project Architects in our Atlanta GA, Milwaukee WI, and Newport Beach CA offices.

The ideal candidate for Project Architect is a licensed Architect with 7+ years of design experience. Candidates who are not licensed, but have completed the Architectural Experience Program (AXP), are in the process of taking the Architect Registration Exam (ARE) and have extensive experience may be considered. Relevant experience should include the design of Retail, Restaurant, Hotel, or Senior Housing projects. Advanced level experience using current versions of Revit and AutoCAD is required. Occasional travel may be necessary for project or client related meetings.

The Project Architect should be a team player and can assist in all facets of project coordination. Potential candidates should have a professional work ethic and the ability to interface with clients and consultants daily.

Requirements: 

  • 7 years minimum, 15 years preferred of architectural experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Design, Master’s preferred

  • Architectural licensure preferred

  • LEED Accreditation a plus

  • Advanced level proficiency in current versions of AutoCAD and Revit required

  • Previous Retail, Restaurant, Hotel, or Senior Housing experience a plus

  • Knowledge of current building codes required

  • Experience coordinating with sub-consultants and clients

  • Ability to mentor and lead junior staff in completion of work with high quality results

Job Captain

Atlanta

ACS is looking for Job Captains in our Atlanta GA and Milwaukee WI offices.

The ideal candidate for Job Captain is an architectural professional working towards their licensure with 3+ years of design experience. Candidates will help create comprehensive Construction Document packages with minimal supervision - including site plans, floor plans, RCP’s, interior/exterior elevations, building sections, details, etc. Relevant experience should include Retail, Restaurant, or Hotel project types. Full proficiency using current versions of Revit and AutoCAD is required.

The Job Captain will have strong problem solving and technical skills to research and apply building codes. Potential candidates should also have a professional work ethic and the ability to interface with clients and consultants daily.

Requirements: 

  • 3 years minimum, 5 years preferred of architectural experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Design

  • Working toward Architectural Licensure (AXP)

  • Intermediate level AutoCAD and Revit experience required

  • Retail, Restaurant, or Hotel experience a plus

  • Experience coordinating with sub-consultants and clients

Architectural Associate

Milwaukee

ACS is looking for an Architectural Associate in our Milwaukee WI office.

The ideal candidate for Architectural Associate is a recent architectural graduate with 1+ years of design experience and is interested in obtaining their licensure. Applicants must be proficient in Autocad and Revit and have a good understanding of construction practice. Potential candidates should also have a professional work ethic and the ability to take direction from senior staff.

Requirements: 

  • 1 year minimum, 3 years preferred of architectural experience

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Design

  • Interested in working toward Architectural Licensure (AXP)
